Vom 12. bis 15. Oktober 2016 findet der 11. European Best Events Awards in St. Petersburg statt. Das Internationale Event- und Live-Kommunikationsfestival hat mit dem offiziellen Bewerbungsstart das Rennen um den begehrten Award eröffnet.

Entries can be commercial or non-commercial events and live communication projects which have taken place anywhere in the world between 01 August 2015 and 31 July 2016, realized and submitted by all event industry entities based in Europe, including events, public relations, communication, promotion, advertising and web agencies, companies, public bodies, associations, non-governmental and non-profit organizations, locations, etc. The best projects in the different categories of the EuBea Awards will be chosen by a distinguished Jury composed by representatives of leading European corporate companies and event associations from all over Europe.

Entrants will compete for the EuBea Grand Prix and – if applicable – for the Iconic Event Award. New this year is the opportunity to enter each project also in one of the two Macro Categories to compete for main prizes such as the Best B2B Event Award and the Best B2C Event Award. Awards will be assigned also in 14 different Event Categories (for example, Convention, Cultural Event, Educational/Training Event, Opening/Celebration Event, Launch Event, Live Entertainment, Roadshows…) and in 4 new Feature Categories (Low Budget Event, Sustainable Innovation, Use of Technology, Use of Web and Social Media). Besides, the Jury will have the opportunity to assign Special Awards and Special Mentions. A separate Press Jury will decide the winner of the Press Award.

The Jury will consider every project against four key criteria: creativity (40%), execution (30%), effectiveness (20%) and channel strategy (10%). The entries must be submitted by 31st July 2016 through the EuBea website. The complete call for entries can be downloaded from the website.

“EuBea has grown over the years to become a benchmark in the events industry. I’m positive that the upcoming edition, with all the improvements made, will boast even greater projects and attract big names both from the agencies’ and the corporate companies’ side. But remember that big and small events have the same chances to win, regardless of their budget, since our criteria for evaluation are creativity, innovation, operational excellence, communication strategy and return on investment” says Gerd De Bruycker, President of the Jury of EuBea 2016, who currently leads the CISCO Marketing Team for Northern Europe.
