Speakers from LinkedIn, SXSW and Daybreaker are part of the exceptional line-up of speakers launching the programme of activities on the new IMEXBuzzHub on 12 May.

Registration opens today for the new virtual experience by the IMEX Group which runs May to September, in the run up to IMEX America.

With content themed around ‘Collaboration, Connections and Community’, this is the first in a series of monthly Buzz Days. It features high calibre speakers from outside and within the business events sector all of whom are united in their work to build and develop communities.

IMEX is also experimenting with its programming mix, emphasising live participation on the day and no replays.

Hear from the following speakers on 12 May:
• Recognised by The White House, the Prime Minister of Canada and the UN for his achievements in community leadership, Shane Feldman, Founder of Count Me In, will share actionable insights into how to build and engage teams ‘with passion and purpose’. Feldman is a rising social entrepreneur. Count Me In started as a high school project in 2008.
• LinkedIn’s Marketing Manager - Content & Social Media, Steve Kearns and Senior Executive Producer - Strategic Events, Rena McGrath will deliver the inside track on how LinkedIn has managed its brand, community and business and events strategy during the pandemic. They’ll also explore the pros and cons of using influencers.
• Radha Agrawal is Co-Founder, CEO and Chief Community Architect of Daybreaker, the early morning dance and wellness movement with a community of 500,000 people. Described as a ‘force of nature’, she will share a roadmap for how she built and sustained several global communities.
• Closing the programme is an industry panel led by Julius Solaris, Head of Engagement at Swapcard. It features Hugh Forrest, Chief Programming Officer at SXSW; Miguel Neves, Editor in Chief of EventMB; CEO& host at Association Chat, KiKi L’Italien and Mehrdad Pourzaki, Senior Communications Specialist, Wikimedia Foundation.

Alongside the monthly Buzz Days, the IMEX BuzzHub has a diverse programme of content running May to September. Participants can expect networking, specialist education, community get togethers plus IMEX staples, such as the popular IMEXrun.
