Gerd De Bruycker (Cisco) wird Jury-Präsident der Best Event Awards 2018

Die Ankündigung erfolgte während des Bea World Advisory Board Meetings, das vom 3. bis 6. März auf den Azoren mit über 30 der einflussreichsten Eventprofis der internationalen Live-Kommunikationsbranche stattfand.

Gerd De Bruycker, Marketing Director bei Cisco Systems, wurde zum Vorsitzenden der diesjährigen Jury der Best Event Awards 2018 gewählt, dem ersten globalen Wettbewerb für Events und Live-Kommunikation. De Bruycker, der als CMO für Nordeuropa verantwortlich ist und das Emea Events Team leitet, wird den Vorsitz einer Jury haben, die aus Marketing-Kommunikations-Managern bekannter multinationaler Unternehmen, großen Investoren in Live-Kommunikation und weltweiten Vertretern von nationalen Event-Agenturen

The announcement was made during the Bea World Advisory Board Meeting, that took place from March 3 to 6 in the Azores, in front of over 30 among the most influential event professionals of the international live communication industry. After an online voting session, the Jury will gather in Coimbra, Portugal – where the Bea World Festival will be hosted next November 21-24, 2018 – to attend the live presentations of the nominees and award the winners.

Gerd, who was President of the Jury also in 2016, is specialized in how event marketing is integrated into the overall marketing mix as part of customer journeys and audience touchpoint strategies. He and his team are responsible for Cisco’s top events in the region, like Cisco Live, Cisco’s trade show participation, event strategy and country event enablement services. Before joining Cisco over 7 years ago, he worked for almost a decade at Microsoft mainly in event marketing roles on a country, regional and worldwide level. He is also a guest lecturer at a high school in Belgium.
