De Gevleugelde Stad Ieper (City of Wings Ypres) is a promotion festival for both professional and young promising street artists. Still before the street theatre season really starts they can present their (new) act to the public, and especially to promoters / organizers.
As many promoters /organizers as possible are invited personally to the festival.
They can see the acts during the festival and afterwards meet the artists in the artist bar.
The festival is also open for everyone who loves street theatre: young people, adults, seniors, associations, families and individuals. They are the necessary audience for each street artist.
THE TRADE FAIR
Saturday 04 april 2009: 14h00 – 20h00
Sunday 05 april 2009: 12h00 – 18h00
This fair is the second part of De Gevleugelde Stad Ieper.
It’s a meeting point between artists and organizers/promoters. The stands are reserved for partners of De Gevleugelde Stad Ieper (City of Wings Ieper) and artists (or their representatives) who are SELECTED for the current edition of the festival. This fair is only accessible for artists and organizers/promoters.

is a concept of Kurt Demey and Frank Poelvoorde
in an organisation of ACCI vzw (Culture Centre Ieper) en Strapop vzw
with financial support of the city of Ieper.
